 The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index ($SOX) recently broke through a key technical level when it passed 500, eventually hitting a 52 week high of $510.26 on May 9th.
Note the 500 level was previously a support level during Q2 of 2006. |

The NASDAQ Composite Index continues to break out and hit new multi year highs. The rally from the 2000 level in July 2006 to the current levels above 2500 is particularly impressive.
The NASDAQ is currently more than 200 points above it's 200 day moving average of 2354. |
