The NASDAQ Composite Index briefly touched the 50 day moving average of 2566 on Tuesday, eventually closing at 2574.

Note the period in early June in which the NASDAQ tested the 50 day moving average and subsequently bounced 75 points.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index ($SOX) is currently testing resistance at the 510 level.

The SOX hit a new 52 week high of $512.09 intra day on Thursday, but retreated on Friday to close down 1.5% at 504.73
